have you struggled with any mental health dilemmas? If so how does or did it affect, you? What is your takeaway about living in our society today? These questions were discussed between one of my closest friends and me. She has personally experienced difficulties with mental health issues. She has shown me what it is like to have support when I needed it the most, she has shown me that I can be better and that others negative thoughts have no relative meaning to how I live my life. She is the most amazing human being I have ever met. She is literally like a sister to me. With that being said, she has given me her personal feedback when I proceeded with their interview. Let’s read her response.
Mental Health Dilemmas:
“Personally, I have struggle with my mental wellbeing. My menta health made me struggle on a daily basis. Everyone should remember that there are not only a few people who struggle mentally but that there is a worldwide of teenagers who are struggling. Every teen has different issues with their lives and mine for example is one of the teenagers who has mental health issues. Trying to cure myself on my own was not going to help me become better. It can be difficult since everyone struggles differently. From anxiety to depression. There are a hundred different ways for someone to be struggling mentally.”
Take away from Society today:
“Our society today is filled with people who follow in each other’s footsteps, In a good way. What I mean by this is that teenagers help each other with problems and most of the time it gets figured out and I feel as if our society is getting better because of the way, we are understanding each other’s mental health. It affects us to feel more and more connected. It makes us feel like we aren’t alone. To know that we have support from one another makes us feel like we have worth and that we have a chance to become better as an individual.” Gabriella Colamarino
