For the people who are constantly moving around, going from one place to another, and for those who rarely get any sleep at night because their minds won’t turn off this post Is for you.

The word “serenity” means a peaceful state of mind or In other words being calm and collected. When I hear or think of the word “serenity”, I think about various things. For one I think about how anyone could go through a day without being calm. As a teen or even an adult, our lives are chaotic. There are a variety of tasks, jobs, and responsibilities that we have to take care of on a daily basis. With this being said, serenity is the last thing that people think about because, to be honest, there Is no time to stop what we are doing because we want to get things done- there are things that we have to accomplish.

Besides having to stay on our feet all day, there Is a time when we all need to take a moment to realize that we need a break in between activities. Being productive Is an amazing habit because being productive has a variety of positive outcomes, but realistically your body needs a break here and there. Moving around constantly can cause your body to slow down, meaning you will get tired and worn out. When you start feeling like this, It Is a sign to TAKE THINGS SLOW!

I know exactly how It feels to not be in a peaceful, calming state of mind. Every day Is a headache for me. Maybe It’s just something I have to live with or maybe It’s a part of growing up and becoming an adult. But In my belief, I think that even as an adult, we need to be at ease on a daily basis. No matter what you are doing today or tomorrow, you should find a way to rest your mind or slow it down.

  3. Most of all the people who we spend time with give us a new perspective on how other people act and how people react to certain situations.
