For this post I figured to create a list of quotes that have a significant meaning to me and how they have helped me throughout my life. Quotes have a deeper meaning than just being read. Quotes have a background story that most people do not realize. Certain words and phrases can change a persons view on life.

With this being said, i hope that you understand the true meaning of the quotes that i have listed below. Enjoy!

1. “You are absolutely capable of creating the life you can’t stop living in your head. It’s time to make your dreams happen.”

Meaning: When I think about the meaning of this quote, I think about all the possibilities that a person can do to make their dreams come true. As cliche as that sounds, you are capable of being able to make your dreams happen in reality. What I mean by this is that in order for you to get what you want in life, you have to work hard for it. Without hard work and dedication, you won’t be able to accomplish the goals that you have been dreaming of.

2. “It ain’t about how hard you get hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and still move forward.” -Rocky Balboa(Sylvester Stallone)

Meaning: This quote is one of my favorite quotes that I live by. Knowing that even though you fall or fail at something, you can always get back up on your feet, and try again. All you can do is try and try. Showing that your failures can lead to success in the future.

3. “Money will come and go. We all know that. The most important thing in life will always be the people in this room. Right here, right now.” – Dominic Toretto | Fast Five (2011)

Meaning: Okay, If you are a fan of the Fast & Furious movie series, you will most likely understand why this is my favorite quote of all time. For the people who don’t know the meaning to this phrase, it is referring to the fact that no matter how much money you have in life, the only thing that stays the same is that your family will always have your back no matter what the circumstances are.

4. “I’d be more frightened by not using whatever abilities I have been given.”- Denzel Washington

Meaning: My take away from this quote, is that knowing what your strengths and weaknesses are, can be beneficial to know who you really are and gives you the chance to show people what you are capable of Inside and out. If you “cover up” who you genuinely believe- you are on the inside- than you won’t learn to appreciate and love who you are. You should always appreciate who you are and except what God has made you.

5. “They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.”

Meaning: I’ve been told that things change with time. I second guess myself whenever i hear this phrase. What I don’t understand is that, how are things supposed to change (with time) if you don’t change them yourself. Anyone is capable to change who they are at any moment. You have the chance to be who you are even if you get told you can’t.

6. “Things change. And friends leave. Life doesn’t stop for anybody.”

Meaning: No matter what life is going to change. Whether it’s a good change or a bad change. Life doesn’t stop no matter how hard things get. People come and go through out your life. Accepting the fact that people will leave, is most-likely the hardest thing to accept. Knowing that you have put your love and care into that person, you also have to understand that the person you love and care for, will leave at some point in your life. This situation isn’t all the time, but it is an accept-ion. Most importantly learning how to be dependent on yourself is most important. Being independent is something that everyone needs to learn because you aren’t going to be with people 24/7.

Quotes and phrases always have a deeper meaning. Whether it is a two word phrase or a paragraph. Words always have a meaning to someone or something. Everything is unique in there own ways and everything has a meaning.
