A person’s mental health is the leading contribution in someones life. The meaning of mental health is the way that you take care of your mind. Focusing on your mental health on a daily basis is a factor that you should continue to focus on every day. Your mental health is a concept that you need to understand and contribute you. With this being said, where does physical health play a roll in this whole concept? Well that is the main question, Is Mental and Physical Health Connected? Let’s find out.

Mental Health Break Down:

Mental health is your emotional well being. It disrupts a person’s thinking, feeling, mood, and ability of daily functioning. More than 43 million people struggle with a mental illness. Mental illnesses can affect people of any age, race, or religion. It is more beneficial to take on a mental illness especially if it runs through your family(generics). Factors such as health conditions or even life experiences( such as trauma or history of abuse).

Common signs of mental health issues include: mood swings, changes in eating habits, excessive worrying or fear, problems concentrating, and avoiding social activities.

There are many ways to make sure that your mental health is at a good standard when, you face the situations that are bothering you and talking to someone about how you are feeling.

Physical Health:

Physical wellness is taking care of ones body and to remain a healthy balance while functioning regularly. Being active is beneficial for your body to improve health and to decrease the risk of a variety of diseases. Physical activity and exercise can have an immediate and long-term health benefits.

Keeping active is mostly important and can regularly improve your quality of life. What I mean by this is that, keeping your body in healthy conditions can make you see things more clearly in life and keep a healthy mind set.

Overall I believe that mental and physical health are connected. Reason being, for example, if your the type of person who suffers with anxiety or depression, you would see a physical change in yourself. Such as, not being motivated to get out of bed, your eating less than usual, or your becoming distant with the people around you. These examples prove to us that your mental health affects your physical health.

Looking at the data according to researchers, there are multiple associations between mental and physical health. The social impact of mental and physical health are key aspects increasing physical activity such as access to nutritiousness foods, adequate income, and social support. These opportunities to enhance protective factors and reduce risk factors for future references to related aspects of mental and physical health.
