International Stress Awareness Day:

The first Wednesday of November,  we celebrate Stress Awareness. This day is all about facing the fact that reinforcing yourself to stressful situations is key to becoming less stressed. As the day approaches, you and everyone should be stress-free, careless, and worry-free. Try to keep away from negative vibes and think to stay positive.

Aside from just having a Stress Awareness day, you should also be consistent about  how you can reduce stress on a daily basis. You should also take some time to figure out ways that you can help yourself remove stress from your life. It can be difficult to think about relieving your stress apart from other days, but it is important to take this day for advantage to figure yourself out and to help you become a better person without dealing with stress.

Anti-Bullying Awareness Week:

Anti- Bullying is the awareness to stop verbal bullying behavior, but above all to stop bullying in general. This event is to raise awareness for young adults and children who are getting bullied. With that being said, it is to prevent ways to stop bullying and how to respond to it in a civilized manner.

Bullying is one of the problems that lead young people to suicide or depression. Bullying is the most common problem that we have in today’s society. So, as a result Anti-Bullying awareness week was created to prevent bullying and to stick up for the people who have been bullied.

If you are being bullied or harassed in any way, you should consult an adult that you trust, to help you out. Speaking up and using your voice is the only way that you could help yourself in this situation.

Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week:

This week is designed to educate the public about drawing attention to the problem of poverty, and to gain volunteers and supporters for anti-poverty agencies. During this week, the public spreads publicity about hunger and homelessness by holding and engaging events in their communities.

If you are interested In supporting this cause, during the Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week wear the color purple.

World Kindness Day:

Wednesday November 13, is World Kindness Day. We celebrate this day to promote kindness throughout the world. World Kindness Day gives us the opportunity to reflect on the most important and unifying principles of humans. Large or small acts of kindness, can diffuse judgmental values of others and bring everyone together.

International Day of Tolerance:

November 16th is International Day of Tolerance. Taking the time to look back on the last time you had a different perspective on one of your friends. Looking and learning about this day, celebrating the open-mindedness of others and listening to everyones stories about their cultures.

We celebrate this day to generate awareness of the dangers of intolerance. Looking back, the United Nations were the first group to establish the International Day of Tolerance in 1995. The United Nations goal is to strengthen tolerance by having a mutual understanding of culture and people.

International Survivors of Suicide Day:

A day established to have friends and family who have lost someone to suicide, come together for healing and support. This day is to be celebrated the Saturday before Thanksgiving(November 20th). This event is to support the survivors of suicide.

When you lose someone to suicide, it also impacts the people who knew and loved that person who has passed. The grief and trauma is difficult to understand and it is difficult to go through, especially when it was someone really close to you. This day is all about being there for one another and to support the survivors of suicide.
