Focusing on yourself should be your TOP PRIORITY. You need to take care of yourself before anyone else. If you know that you are not okay- you need to stop, take a breathe and tell yourself ” I am stronger than I think.” Sometimes we work ourselves up and start to make ourselves panic. Whether it’s about a stressful day at work or just having a hard time getting out of bed. We all have our ups and downs, but at the end of the day we have to step forward into a new command(direction).

No matter how hard life can get, you need to push yourself to keep moving forward. If you continue to stay in the same path for a long period of time, you won’t allow yourself to grow and learn and make room to make mistakes. You need to let yourself move forward in order to unleash the things that are holding you back. You aren’t going to fully understand your demons until you come face to face with them.

Understanding what complications you are going through, is something that you should focus on. Knowing what’s bothering you, may help you to seek what you need to come to a conclusion with that problem. For example, if you are having a stressful day at school, your teachers bombarded you with homework, and you have a soccer game after school, than these would be some of the things that you know of that are making your day stressful. In order to find a solution for your stressful day, a solution might be to do homework during your free periods during school and after school, focus on going to your soccer game. Conflicts like this may not all be as simple, but if you are dealing with something that is making you really stressed out and you don’t know whats bothering you, that is a completely different story.

If you don’t know what is making you sad, depressed, or stressed, it makes it harder to figure out how you are going to help yourself get out of that state of mind. We all have those days where we are feeling down and don’t know why, but that’s what makes us human. What i am trying to say is, don’t beat yourself down over having just one bad day because eventually with time, you will be able to feel like yourself again and do things that boosts your self esteem.

Self-care is all about doing the things that make you feel good about yourself and taking care of your body physically and mentally. Starting a self-care routine can reduce anxiety or depression, stress, minimize anger or frustration, improve concentration, and increase happiness. Even if you are at the lowest point in your life, you should start building up a self-care routine that is beneficial for you and only you.

Start today by creating a healthy routine that will help you overcome your anxiety, depression, stress, etc. Starting now will benefit you for future events. Your mentality comes first, start with you.
