There are plenty of ways to live a happier and healthier life. You can find happiness in taking part in physical activities such as, going to the GYM, doing yoga, reading, writing, drawing, boxing, running, or even just going outside when the weather is good. The most important thing to remember is that you have the option of choosing whether or not you want to live a happier life and to do what makes you feel good about yourself. No one can tell you what makes you happy, it’s up to you to figure that out.

With that being said, i would now like to include a list of 10 ways that can help you feel good about yourself, more motivated, and confident about your decisions and choices you are going to make. Lets get started!!

1. Healthier Lifestyle:

We are now at the age were WHAT WE EAT MATTERS! I don’t mean your physical weight, i’m also talking about taking care of your teeth and what foods you are putting into your body. We all know that certain types of foods affect a typical part of your body. For example, if you eat fruit on a daily basis- and it doesn’t matter what type of fruit it is, it can affect your heart health, blood pressure, it can boost your vitamins and minerals throughout your body, and fruits can also decrease the risk of having diabetes, and is a very good source of high fibers. If you eat High-Sodium foods like soda or red meats, it can have a bad result on your bone health. NO MATTER WHAT you eat it will always have an impact on your body.

If you change your eating and drinking habits, you will see an excessive change in your body and yourself. People don’t really know that food can be the reason that can cause mental health problems like eating disorders, anxiety, stress eating, etc. If you want to live a Healthier Lifestyle, than changing what you are eating, can really benefit you on taking another step into living a happier and healthier life.

2. Being Active:

Being active will benefit your mental and physical health. Being fit and active will help you live a longer life, make you more independent and confident. Physical activities affects your mind set. When your adrenaline is rushing and you feel energized- you than believe you can do anything, that’s the kind of mind set that you want. Sitting on your couch everyday won’t get you anywhere, sleeping for more than 10 hours a day will make you even more tired, and being negative about the situations that come your way isn’t going to lead to positive outcomes. Problems like this always affect your attitude. If you are having a problem with being active, try talking to a friend, relative, doctor, or anyone who you might want to help you stay in shape and to become more healthier. Physical fitness is important, and it’s better to start making better decisions of living a healthier and physical lifestyle as soon as possible.


3. Building a better you (starting today)

Self care is the most important thing that you should think about when you want to start or rebuild a part of you that you want to change. Taking care of yourself, before anyone else is something that you should always do first. There are people out there who are mostly focused on helping others that they have forgotten about helping themselves. This is one more step of building yourself up to living a happier life. Being a “better person” is all about caring about others, being kind to people you don’t really know, and most importantly not giving up on yourself and to not listening to other peoples opinions about you because those people don’t know you or your story.

“The only person you need to be better than is the person you were yesterday.” Improving yourself everyday is the only way that you can get better. If you keep doing the same things you are used too, you will get the same results you have always gotten. If you genuinely want to change or upgrade yourself, you must do something different. What you know can only get you so far and if you want to go farther, you must improve the way you think, enhance your skills, and develop better characteristics.

Successful people don’t become successful accidentally or because they are lucky. They become successful because of their experiences and what they have gone through throughout life. Being successful is about how hard you get hit and than getting up after getting hit. Every time you fall down on your knees, you need to pick yourself back up- that’s how you become successful. The more hardships you have gone through, the more experience you gained. The more experience you have, the better you become and the more you can achieve.

Listen, watch, read, and most important of all, do. Take action and take a chance. Go through the process so that you will develop the skills and gain the necessary experience to become someone better.

4. I am going to write out a list of ways/ tips on not just living a happier life, but ways that can benefit you into being a better person and finding ways on how you can grow as a person. Let’s get started; read below:

  2. Delete negative songs from your playlist
  3. Let go of all the anger and grudges
  4. Help others whenever you can
  5. Start excising regularly and fall in love with a healthy diet
  6. Say “Yes” to new experiences
  7. Embrace every challenge as a way to become stronger
  8. Stop doing things that you don’t want to do
  9. Trust your instincts
  10. Don’t be afraid to say no
  11. Don’t be afraid to say yes
  12. Follow your inspiration
  13. Be kind to yourself
  14. Change the way you think
  15. Figure out your life passions and purpose
  16. Change your attitude toward certain situations
  17. Don’t be afraid to ask for help
  18. Be patient
  19. Forgive everyone and anyone- no matter what
  20. Laugh every day

5. Make an Impact and Lead your legacy

Lucille Belle once said, ” Love Yourself first and everything falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” If you want to change the world and help people, you must take care of yourself first. If you want to help the poor, then don’t be one. Once you have helped yourself and get yourself out of the problem, it is time to turn to others and help them.

This improvement allows you to become an inspiration to others and serve as a role model. Think about it, why do people want to work in big and successful companies like Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Microsoft? It’s because these companies have strong visions and are motivated to improve qualities of life.

Whether you realize it or not, these companies are constantly evolving and improving. They are trying to make an impact on our communities and our world in general.

Serve as a role model to inspire others. And more importantly, always give back to the world.

There are definitely more than 5 ways to live a happier life. But always remember that there is always hope, and that there is always a solution to a problem.
