Reading is a good way to get your mind off of things, it’s a perfect time to read when you have nothing to do, and it’s something to do for fun. It may seem like something that is boring and not interesting, but if you have an interest in reading, writing, and other ways of literature, then perhaps picking up a book that “calls out to you”, it may help with your mental help. It may not help you completely, but it can help you get through things that you are going through.
According to research, reading is a type of meditation, which helps bring a feeling of relaxation and inner calm. Most readers are known to sleep easier, relieves stress, and lowers the rate of their depression than non-readers. It can be a huge benefit to your mental health.
