2-Uplifting music
In our generation now, everyone listens to a variety of music, from R&B to Country, no matter what it is it gives you a certain feeling. Like all you want to do is get up and dance like no one is watching or sing to the lyrics and scream on top of your lungs. What i’m trying to say is that when you are feeling down or just having a bad day, play your favorite song. Either lie down in your room and just listen to the music or get up to sing and dance. But make sure that it’s a happy song to bring you into a positive mood. Because if you listen to depressing sad songs, it’s going to bring your self esteem even more down.

1-Distractions

One way of getting rid of a negative thought is by distracting yourself before that thought takes over you. It’s hard to try and fight against negative thoughts but you have to try and breathe and remember to think in a positive way. Remember that you are having a bad day not a bad life. As i was saying, distracting yourself can help you cope with negative vibes and negative thoughts. Read below a list of distractions that we have made for you:

  • Reading a book
  • Writing down how you are feeling
  • Listen to music
  • Watch a show
  • Distance yourself from your phone and social media
  • Go for a walk
  • organize
  • Facetime a friend who will boost up your mood
  • Open up to someone about how you are feeling or just talk to someone you trust
