My name is Anastasia. I decided to be a part of this project to share my story, thoughts and opinions. My story begins when I was four years old. Keep in mind that I have a twin sister and an older brother. When I was a baby my mom and dad got a divorce. I rarely remember what he looked like because he was never around. The last thing I remember was my dad picking up my siblings and I from preschool and dropping us off home and I never saw him again since. I still ask myself to this day why my father never stopped by the house to spend time with us. I never understood why he never came back. He was still my father and he didn’t want to see his children grow. Right now knowing that my father is not around and having a single mother raise her three kids on her own is tough. Teenagers having to deal with this type of situation is difficult. People might say it’s nothing to worry about but it is. Those people who say those types of things don’t get what it’s like having one parent raise their kid/kids their whole life. Now knowing my story, I would like to inspire other teenagers to share their stories with us and anything they would like to open up about. We are here to talk and give advice. Teenagers starting at this age should have a voice that should be heard.  We are willing to reflect upon the subject about teens. The generation that us teens are living in now is hard for us to open up and speak our minds. 

The readers that continue to encourage our work on this blog and provide comments that uplift our story, influences us to keep on going, continue doing the things we love, and to keep on supporting the teens who read and take note of what we do to help out our community. If our audience has questions about anything, we will support them with advice that they need. 

Hey, my name is Ariana. I am also a part of the founding of the website and I’m really happy to be a part of this. I started writing to record my journey and experience. Yes, there is a theme to this website and some articles that you will come across will mostly be reflecting on Teen Life. Some talents and skills that I have are writing, music, photography, and I am a very good listener. All of these things are my life. They play an important role in my life, they bring me happiness, fill me with creative ideas, and joy. There really is not one word that can describe how these skills make me feel. If you decide to comment on articles or whatever it is one here,  it would be nice for your comments to provide us with the positivity and encouragement that you and us need. When or if I am asked a question and I answer, I will answer honestly, calmly, kindly, and if asked to be private I will respect that. I will give it my all to give the advice you need or seek for. I am someone that you can trust, I am someone who is here to hear you out, and I am someone who is here to help. Yet again, If there are any negative comments and things that are being said on this website you will be reported and removed from the site.

In a matter of fact, a way that you can be involved other than the blog is by following us on our social media that can be viewed on the Home Page. If, at some point you decide to talk about your story, what you’re going through, or even some advice, you can go to the Teen line under the articles tab. No matter how many times you may or may not have been told that ” you are not alone” you’re not. Think of this website as a safe get away or place that you can have someone to talk to. Having someone to talk to isn’t a bad thing and whatever you may be going through “you’re not alone” and trust us when we say that.
